Do you know there are certain tricks to work with a mouse?
This post includes all the mouse tricks you are not aware of.
The very first fact I would like to tell is that even the most basic mouse has a total of three buttons. The scroll button is the most unused button ever. By scroll button, I mean that when you press the scroll button there's a click sound. That clicking sound is functional and can be put to great use.
You can directly close a tab in your browser by clicking on the tab using "Scroll Button". The keyboard shortcut is "Ctrl+w"
Annoyed by opening a link in a new tab by right-clicking and then hitting "Open in new tab", well if you click a link using the scroll button it'll directly open in a new tab. A link can be opened in a new tab by simply clicking on the link while holding "Ctrl" on your PC.
Now this trick ain't scroll button-related but can be very helpful. If you want to select a text, conventionally you drag the text while right-clicking. But here's an easy way to select a text, move your cursor to the beginning of the text now hold "Shift" and left-click till where you want the selection. This might sound a little difficult but this helps a lot.
Triple-click the left button and the entire paragraph will be selected.
Double-clicking the left button selects the word.
Hold ctrl and scroll the mouse scroller and any page will zoom in or zoom out.
Click on the scroll button on any page that can be scrolled and you can navigate through the whole page with great smoothness, the scrolling speed can be adjusted by moving the mouse. This trick is not limited to scroll up and down only if a webpage is large enough and you can go sidewise too by bringing your mouse to the left or right side of its original position.
Talking about sidewise scrolling, you can sidewise scroll by holding shift while scrolling the wheel.
So this was all about today's post, hope you found it helpful and if you did, make sure to hit like and comment on the post if you like it. Do share it with your friends and family.
