Step and Repeat (Uniform Pattern Generation)

1. Open any workspace or layer.

2. Build any shape or a layer you want to make a pattern of. (Say a rectangle)

3. After forming the shape, press "Ctrl/Command+Alt+T".

4. Now after doing that drag the shape in which you want the pattern to follow.

5. Hit "Enter/Return". Say, you dragged the shape below the previous shape. The pattern will continue in a similar manner.

6. Now press "Ctrl/Command+Alt+Shift+T".

7. As many times you repeat step 6, that many times the shape will repeat itself.
